2001 Honda Accord Exhaust Diagram - ? If you're the proprietor of a Zenith HZ 5100 series smoke sensor, you have to understand what is in the ecosystem. You need to understand the requirements of your home's wiring so you can refrain from making a mistake and missing an important wire or two when you are assembling or installing a smoke detector. Smoke sensors work by creating a particular degree of lighting in the area whenever there's smoke present. This is a very important feature. A non-working alarm can be very harmful for any room of your house or workplace. The wiring diagram for a Zenith HZ 5100 series is very similar to the wiring diagram for a HVAC unit. There are three wires. These cables run from the black pole to ground. The second wire goes from the black post to the circuit breaker box. The third wire is the power cable. It's the same sort of cable used for high voltage electric systems. The last wire, which can be called the ground wire, runs into the black post. When you turn in your smoke detector, it detects smoke that has gathered on the black pole also sends a signal to the control panel at your house or workplace. The signal is sent to the control panel since it detects the presence of a smoke detector. After the control panel decides there is smoke present, it activates the alert. The switch on the control panel which you can view has a push button mechanism that activates the alarm. The next step is to find the white pole. This is located about half way up the ideal side of the sensor. A screwdriver is the ideal tool to get for this particular job. If you are not comfortable with having a screwdriver, then you can use a tiny flat blade screwdriver. Ensure the white article is facing away from you so that you do not inadvertently touch it. Once you've found the white pole, make sure that you shut off the power to the alert and to the control panel by removing the power plug first. Next, you need to locate the very first cable that is linked to the white pole. It's located on the interior of this black post. As long as you've got the screwdriver in your hand, you need to be able to readily access the cable. Finally, locate the wire that is linked to the white post and remove the two mounting screws in the cable. Following that, you will be able to compress the metal tray and then put in the wire back into the control panel.
